Article X: Governance
Section 1 – The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall be composed of the President, the President-Elect, the First Vice-President, the Second Vice-President, the Immediate Past-President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Chair of the Section of Radiation Oncology, the Chair of the Section of Medical Physics, the Chair of the Resident Physician Section, the Chief Councilor, and the Vice Chief Councilor.

1. The President of the TRS shall preside at Executive Committee meetings. The President will only cast a vote in decisions of the Executive Committee in the case of a tie.
2. If the President is absent or incapable of action, the order of succession to the duties of the office of President is President-Elect, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President.
3. The Executive Committee shall meet in person or by electronic media as determined by the President.
4. The executive Committee shall act for the TRS between regular business meetings of the society and shall perform such duties as specified in the bylaws.

Section 2 – The Board of Governors
The Board of Governors shall be composed of members of the Executive Committee, members of the Board of Trustees, Chairs of all standing Committees/Councils, as well as all Councilors and Alternate Councilors.

1. The Board of Governors will meet at the Annual Meeting of the TRS and at any scheduled interim meeting.
