Article XV: Meetings of the TRS

Section 1 – Annual Business Meeting
The annual business meeting shall be held in conjunction with the Scientific and Postgraduate Program at a time and place to be determined by the Executive Committee at least two years in advance of the meeting. The time and place of the meeting shall be posted on the TRS web-site by the Secretary as soon as they are decided.

1. A quorum of the Chapter at the annual business meeting is fifteen voting members.
2. The agenda of the annual business meeting of the TRS shall be established by the President and shall be posted on the TRS web-site at least thirty days prior to the meeting.
3. The annual business meeting of the TRS shall be open to all radiologists, but only Active Members, Fellows, Members in Physics, and Fellows in Physics of the Chapter may vote.

Section 2 – Meetings of the Board of Governors and Executive Committee
The Board of Governors of the TRS shall meet at least twice annually. One meeting shall be held immediately prior to or during the Annual Meeting. The second interim meeting shall be held at least one month prior to the annual meeting of the ACR. The Executive Committee will meet as needed as determined by the President.

1. Notice of Board of Governors Meetings is to be posted on the web page at least thirty days prior to the meeting.
   
2. The meetings of the Board of Governors are open to members of the TRS, although only members of the Board may vote.
   
3. Notice of Executive Committee Meetings is to be posted on the webpage at least twenty-one days prior to the meeting.
   
4. The Meetings of the Executive Committee are open to members of the TRS, although only Executive Committee members may vote.
   
5. Special Meetings of the Executive Committee may be called by the President by phone or other electronic notice of at least 3 days prior to the meeting.
   
6. A quorum for the Executive Committee is at least six members.
   
7. The Executive Committee may go into a closed, executive session under exceptional circumstances by a two-thirds vote of the Executive Committee.

Section 3 – Special Meetings of the TRS
Special meetings of the TRS may be called by the President at the request of one-half of the members of the Executive Committee, at the request of thirty Active Members, Fellows, Members in Physics, Fellows in Physics, or at the request of the Council of the American College of Radiology. Notice of the time, place, and purpose of special meetings of the TRS shall be posted on the TRS web-site at least thirty days prior to the meeting.

1. No business may be transacted at the Special Meetings except the specific business for which the Special Meeting was called.
