CHARGE: To serve individually or in concert at the pleasure of the President on such occasions where their experience and expertise is appropriate to expedite the business of the Chapter. To receive and act upon all nominations for the Texas Radiological Society Gold Medal.

The Executive Committee shall be composed of the President, the President-Elect, the First Vice-president, the Second Vice-president, the Immediate Past-President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Chair of the Section of Radiation Oncology, the Chair of the Section of Medical Physics, the Chief Councilor, and the Vice Chief Councilor. The President of the Resident Section shall be an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee without vote. The Executive Committee shall act for the TRS between the regular business meetings of the society and shall perform such duties as specified in the bylaws. The Executive Committee shall meet together with the councilors at its annual meeting and scheduled interim meeting.

The Board of Trustees shall be composed of the immediate Past-President and the preceding two living Presidents. The Board acts as a Senior Advisory Group to the Executive Committee, serves as the Judicial Affairs Committee, and awards Gold Medals. The Board of Trustees shall serve as the Gold Medal Committee.
