			<description><![CDATA[<p>Texas H.B. 2102 known as Henda's Law became effective September 1,  2011, but mammography facilities are not required to comply with the requirements of this law until <u><strong>January 1, 2012</strong></u>.&nbsp; The law requires mammography providers to notify their patients with dense breast tissue that their dense breasts could hide abnormalities, and that they may benefit from supplemental screening tests <em>if</em> they have other risk factors for breast cancer.&nbsp; Read more details, or check out our online forum for more discussions on this topic.</p> ]]></description>
