This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The American College of Radiology and the Texas Radiological Society. The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The target audience for this activity is Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists and Residents/Fellows.

Claiming Credits

CME, RLI, SAMs, and ethics credits can now all be entered and claimed in one location on ACR's credit claiming website. Credits will be available to claim no later than 1 week post annual meeting. Credits must be claimed no later than May 30, 2020.


Physicians CME Credits

Diagnostic Radiology Program

The American College of Radiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 21 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Radiation Oncology Program

The American College of Radiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 14 .75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Ethics Credit

Self-Assessment Module (SAM) Credit

  • Drs. Desai, Folkert & Tang - Prostate Radiotherapy Lectures: 2.0 SAM credits

Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) Credits

The following courses has been approved by the ACR Radiology Leadership Institute® (RLI) for up to 2.45 RLI credits:

  • Dr. Patel - Value Based Radiology, 1.00 RLI credit
  • Dr. Patel - Navigating the World of Metric Fixation, 1.00 RLI credit

Modality Accreditation Program Credits

The CME obtained from this program also counts toward CME requirements for various modality accreditation programs. Use the Certificate of Modality Credits tracking form for calculating CME hours for modality accreditation purposes.


Physicists MPCEC Credits

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) has approved this educational program for up to 20.5 MPCEC hours for the Diagnostic Radiology Program and up to 14 MPCEC hours for the Radiation Oncology Program for a maximum of 20.5 hours of MPCEC.

Medical Physicists should use the MPCEC Reporting Form to record all lectures attended. Medical Physicists pre-registered for the meeting should receive an emailed copy of the MPCEC Reporting Form. Upon completion of the meeting, email your completed MPCEC reporting from to by March 13, 2020TRS staff will upload physicist credits to the CAMPEP system.
